Ocean follows all municipal and provincial regulations governing the production of ready mix concrete and hot mix asphalt. We are committed to meeting and exceeding these requirements. That is why we constantly strive to anticipate and comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations governing our industry.
As an example of our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, we continue to implement a proactive, forward reaching approach in the handling of excess construction material through recycling and re-use. For instance, waste concrete is recycled in a reclaiming process facilitating the re-use of fine and coarse aggregates for future applications.
Moving ahead into 2005 and beyond, Ocean will continue to work with communities and various levels of government in ensuring our products and services are of the highest quality while maintaining awareness of the importance environmental responsibility plays.
